Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin)

We are searching for mid-level software engineers (3-5 years experience) to join our dynamic and collaborative team in Oslo. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to critical projects that shape the future of our enterprise SaaS solutions.

We build and run critical Enterprise SaaS software for high profile news/content publishing customers, who demand high availability, high performance, and high quality.

What we are looking for:

You have 3-5 years of hands-on experience with the following:

Essential:

• Java

• Linux as a dev and runtime environment

• Bare metal infrastructure and/or cloud (AWS preferably)

• Troubleshooting production incidents

• Automating repetitive tasks and improving tooling and systems

• Working independently, managing their own time and taking ownership of tasks from start to finish

• Working with other teams, sometimes remotely 

Nice to have:

• Large-scale, real-time data processing (very nice to have)

• Kotlin

• AI, LLMs

• Front-end skills

• Interest in CI/CD (specifically Bazel, Gradle and Kubernetes) - these are areas where it is possible to grow/expand experience

• Elastic

Qualifications:

• Immediately available to live and work in Norway

• Fluent in English (our working language)

• University degree in Computer Science, or similar

• Available for the (paid) on-call rota (1 week, every 2 months)
