As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Construction Discipline Lead with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
 
The project is led from Bergen.
 
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 
What will you be doing?

• Ensure that the Construction discipline perform the work in accordance with project requirements and Aker Solutions’ project execution model.

• Ensure that client requirements are correctly implemented in design/specifications.

• Ensure that Construction discipline deliveries meet the schedule and quality requirements.

• Report on the status of the mechanical discipline deliveries.

• Facilitate multidiscipline coordination and participate in relevant engineering and procurement meetings.

• Allocate work within the Construction discipline.

• Evaluate manning needs and request resources as required to perform the work.

• Contribute to a good working environment within the Construction discipline team.

• Interface with client

 
Qualifications we think you should have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related Engineering field. Extensive experience can sometimes compensate for formal education.

• Experience in Construction management, preferably in a leadership role.

• Offshore certificate is required.

• Strong leadership abilities to inspire and guide a team of engineers.

• Ability to manage resources, allocate tasks, and ensure project objectives are met.

• Fluency in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.

• Proficiency in software applications such as MIPS, Safran and SAP.

• Skills in Microsoft Office.
