We are now looking for new people for our team; Kitchen asssitant and dish washer. It a combined position working partly in the kitchen and in our dish washing area.

Kaffebakeriet is a premier bakery, patisserie and chocolaterie located in the middle of Oslo. It is a buzzing organization with coworkers from various countries.

The position as kitchen assistant is responsible for the sandwich, salad, quiche and yoghurt production. After packing for customer delivery you will be responsible for preparation for the next day's production.

In the kitchen, you will be working in a busy environment with fresh and tasty ingredients. We work with a nice range of several raw materials from different high quality producers and suppliers.

The production planning software is developed specifically for our firm to assist you to be able to manage your time well so that all items are produced and packed ready for the delivery deadline. You are also responsible for ensuring that the quality of the products sent to the customer meet our strict quality standards. Cleaning and tidying your work area at the end of the shift is also required to assure the work place is ready for the next phase.

Working hours:

3:00 to 11:00 a.m. on weekdays
2:00 to 10:00 a.m on Saturdays
2:30 to 10:30 a.m on Sundays

Responsibilities

• Sandwich production and delivery organization – Make sandwiches and pack items and organize orders ready for delivery.

• Production of salad, quiche, yoghurt and cold porridge.

• Preparing ingredients and recipes for next day production.

• Quality control -- Ensure that all items are made to the required standard and any deviations are handled accordingly.

• Communication -- Work closely with other departments and communicate important issues in a timely way.

• IK-MAT -- Ensure that internal control routines are followed and documented in the appropriate format.

• Cleaning -- Conduct cleaning tasks as required.

• Dish washing

Requirements:

• Read, write and communicate effectively in English

• Computer literacy -- A web system is used for packing and production

• Previous kitchen experience is an advantage
